The Frankfort Trifecta Series wrapped up Saturday, June 15, 2013 with the last race in the series, the longest of the three, the Capital City Stampede.  The Capital City Stampede is a 10K race that is put on by the Frankfort YMCA.  It started and ended at the State Capital on a perfect June morning for running, cool and clear.  Over 400 runners were registered.  About 100 walkers were registered for the 2 mile walk which took place silmutaniously.

Congratulations to the race winners!  First place was Adam Schaffner, age 35, with an overall time of 00:32:26.  Second Place went to Daryl Parks, age 37, with a time of 00:34:30.  Third place went to Aaron Schaffner, also age 35, with a time of 00:35:23.  All of the race results may be found at the YMCA website by clicking HERE.
