The Liberty Hall Historic Site played host to the Early Kentucky Home Life Seminar: Foodways of Early Kentucky on Friday, June 28, 2013.  About 40 participants paid to participate in a day-long seminar on cooking in early Kentucky history over an open hearth.  The day was filled with informative talks, lunch featuring wines by First Vineyard in Nicholasville, a demonstration of open hearth cooking at Liberty Hall and a tour of the historic property.  For more information about programs at Liberty Hall Historic Site, log onto www.libertyhall.org.
