8:30 am – 10:00 pm – All “A” Classic Basketball Tournament, Wednesday, January 27 – Saturday, January 30. The All “A” Classic is a statewide basketball tournament for the smallest 131 high schools within the commonwealth. The winners from the 16 boys’ regional tournaments along with the 16 girls’ regional tournament champions will advance to the statewide tournament at the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero St. Info/Schedule HERE

Join the Frankfort High School fans in the stands at 10:00 am as the Lady Panthers take on Harlan County. FHS player #52, BriAnna Burbridge was on fire with 48 points, as the Lady Panthers defeated Menifee County on Wednesday, 50 – 72.  This broke the all time Kentucky All “A” Classic record!

On Wednesday, Frankfort High School defeated Menifee County, 50 – 72, with #52, BriAnna Burbridge breaking Kentucky All “A” Classic scoring record with 48 points.

7:00 pm – A Night of Music – ACCESS Soup Kitchen/Men’s Shelter Benefit Concert, at the First Christian Church of Frankfort, 316 Ann Street

This special evening of music and celebration returns to First Christian Church, 316 Ann St., Frankfort, KY on Friday, Jan. 29th at 7:00 pm. Enjoy live music of great variety – soul stirring gospel, enchanting folk songs, true Kentucky bluegrass and more!
An ensemble of local musicians who represent the First United Methodist, Capital City Christian, Good Shepherd, and Hope Lutheran Churches will be coming together for this special performance.
Donations will be appreciated to support the ministries for the homeless men and meals for the men, women and children. We are expecially in need of your support as we complete our building upgrade and expansion. In 2015, ACCESS served 27,404 meals, sheltered approximately 180 men. ACCESS provided additional assistance to male clients, including counseling, clothing, job placements, life skills, spiritual exploration and other services. Please support these critically valuable services to our community.
