For 34 years the National Paddling Film Festival has been hosting a competition to determine the best in paddle sport videos and images.

This competition has provided the paddling community with a fun and profitable event to support American Whitewater and river conservation. In that time, the NPFF has also helped to raise the quality of paddle sport entertainment by providing recognition of talent along with important and useful feedback for the artists who make the show a possibility.

National Paddle & Film Festival - 2-19-16

6:00 pm – Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, at Equus Run Vineyards, 1280 Moores Mill Road, Midway

Set against the background of the Roaring 20’s, this murder mystery takes you to the wealthy neighborhood of West Egg, Long Island. Jay Gatsby’s friend and associate Meyer Wolfshiem is throwing a party, and you are invited! There are a lot of secrets in the room, like how Meyer made his fortune, and who is this Gatsby character anyway? All of your favorite characters from the novel are suspects in this mystery, including: Nick Carraway, Tom & Daisy Buchanan, Jay Gatsby and more!

7:00 pm – Ghost Tour at Buffalo Trace Distillery, It’s rumored that there are more spirits at the Distillery than those aging in barrels. You will hear legendary stories and get a look at some of the Distillery’s most haunted areas, including Stony Point Mansion, where it’s been said that the ghost of Col. Blanton still resides.
