4:00 – 7:00 pm – Soljam Band, at Talon Winery, Gordon Ln, Shelbyville

Soljam Band – jazz and light rock. With combined experience of over 40+ years, this band is 100% entertainment. Front man, Paul Osborne has a voice like Tony Bennett, and plays saxophone and flute. Vocalist, Jeana Pillion is a soulful mix of Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones with a bit of sass like Etta James. She and pianist, Palmer Tolly started the band in 2013. Palmer is a master of creativity on the keys. She has composed orchestration for several musicals while immersed in the Chicago jazz scene in the 70-90s. And on bass, Robert Trott lends his classy style, which he developed from years of jazz touring and his foundation from Berklee College of Music. Each of these talented musicians is highly involved in the Lexington area music scene and in other bands too. But it’s a treat to see this powerhouse of musicians perform together as Soljam. http://www.SoljamBand.com
