The KSU Research & Demonstration Farm hosted the the last in the series of four winter Roundtable luncheons for some of the most influential women in Central Kentucky on Thursday. The Women Leading Kentucky roundtable featured three powerful women from the not-for-profit business arena.  Marian Guinn from God’s Pantry Food Bank, Diane Fleet from Greenhouse 17, and Susan Malcomb from the Lexington Humane Society, all answered insightful questions about their backgrounds, the challenges in their current position, and the importance of women leaders supporting each other. The Roundtables are where prominent Kentuckians are invited to speak and share professional/personal challenges and lessons learned. Some of the local women leaders in attendance included the ladies from the Frankfort/Franklin County Tourism Office, the Capital Plaza Hotel, Community Trust Bank, and Kentucky State University. This roundtable luncheon is a perfect opportunity for women to gather to network and share ideas and nurture each other through knowledge and experience.
