The call went out across the community to high school students, job seekers, veteran services and community leaders. The Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the first annual Joining Community Forces Expo at the Frankfort Convention Center on Thursday evening.  Organizations and businesses from across Franklin County set up to speak to potential interns/co-op students, employees, volunteers or those looking for community services.  Many non-profits answered the call to set up and speak to those eager to start or change direction of their career choices, or inquire as to volunteer opportunities to help build a stronger community.  Feedback from the vendors was overwhelmingly positive. And, although participant attendance wasn’t as first anticipated, overall it was a successful showing of Frankfort’s resources and organizations dedication to building a better community.
