Maggie Delaney: The Story of an Indentured Servant

Maggie Delaney, her husband and children came to the American colonies in search of a better life. Maggie, an indentured servant, instead found sorrow and hardship as a “white slave.” The character is fictional, but the story is real. Carol Jarboe portrays Maggie, highlighting the difficult and heroic journey that many of our ancestors took seeking a better life in the 17th and 18th centuries.
