Liberty Hall Historic Site will kick off its After Hours at Liberty series with Barks, Brews & BBQ on August 4 at 5:30 p.m. The event is inspired by the canine visitors and their pet parents who frequent the Liberty Hall grounds every day. Guests will be able to take a self-guided tour of the grounds and see yard signs that introduce them to the former canine residents of Liberty Hall, including Duke and Judge. This year’s music will be headlined by Bill May Band and adding to the fun will be the Franklin County Human Society, who will be on hand with adoptable furry friends and a chipping station. Barbecue dinners will be available for purchase, as well as beer and wine.

Admission to the event is free, but donations will be accepted. For more information on the After Hours at Liberty series, visit www.libertyhall.org, or call Liberty Hall at (502) 227-2560.
