On Thursday, Frankfort’s first Chick-fil-A Restaurant opened up on US 127 South to dozens of people in attendance. Many Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce members, city and county, as well as community leaders, joined Chick-fil-A franchise operator Chase Harper and other corporate officials as they cut the ribbon on the city’s newest restaurant. The official ribbon cutting and grand opening of this location marked the 2,033rd location for the national chain.

The restaurant chain prides itself on tradition and began the ceremony by displaying the nation’s colors (you’ll also see a national flag proudly displayed in front) and singing the national anthem. Speeches were made and the ribbon was cut, followed by the “forst bite” ceremony. Guests enjoyed a “bite” of chicken as well as an invitation to tour behind the scenes in the restaurant.

Congratulations to Frankfort’s newest restaurant and Chamber member!
