BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY (Aug. 15, 2016) – There’s no better way to spend a summer evening than by sipping cocktails on the patio of a historic bourbon distillery while enjoying barbeque and local music. Barton 1792 Distillery is inviting everyone to do just that.

From 4:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 18, the patio in front of the Visitor Center at Barton 1792 Distillery will be open for a relaxing, fun evening with good drinks, friends and food.

The Moe Licious BBQ food truck, based in Louisville, will be onsite dishing up some delicious barbeque for guests wishing to purchase dinner, and Wiltshire Pantry will be serving a signature Bourbon Lemonade drink, as well as cocktails featuring 1792 Bourbon, Very Old Barton Bourbon and Southern Comfort.

Bardstown’s own Matthew Fogle will perform live music on the patio.

“We’re looking forward to a fun evening,” Josh Hollifield, visitor center manager said. “We hope everyone will join us on the patio after work Thursday for some drinks and good music.”

There is no charge to attend the event, however food and drink sales will be offered. Situated less than a mile from Court Square, Barton 1792 Distillery is located at 300 Barton Road, Bardstown, KY, 40004.
