FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 17, 2016) – The Grand Theatre will present the new documentary “The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Nov. 4. Tickets are $8.

Acclaimed director Ron Howard’s film reveals newly discovered footage of the legendary group’s touring career from 1963 through 1966. The documentary includes interviews with surviving members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Also featured is the group’s entire show at Shea Stadium in 1965, an epic event that broke records for attendance at a rock concert.

The running time is 2 hours, 17 minutes. Tickets may be purchased at the door, at the ticket office at 312 W. Main St. between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays or by calling 502-352-7469.
