Together Frankfort, a nonpartisan citizens’ network focused on civic participation, improved voter involvement, and education on public issues, invites the community to meet at 7 PM, Tuesday, March 14, 2017, Room 238, Cooperative Extension Building, at Frankfort’s Kentucky State University (KSU).
Together Frankfort’s organizers appreciate KSU’s hospitality and look forward to meeting Interim President Aaron Thompson, who will be welcoming the group to KSU’s campus.
Together Frankfort’s meeting, which encourages each individual to participate through small group opportunities, will discuss civic engagement, partnerships with local and regional groups, and communication. Several representatives will describe potential partnerships, including Indivisible Bluegrass, Kentuckians For the Commonwealth, and the Kentucky Correspondence Club, among others. The reach KSU’s Cooperative Extension Building, turn onto University Boulevard from East Main/U.S. 60 at the intersection with Martin Luther King Boulevard. Immediately after the entrance, the KSU Parking Kiosk attendant will provide a parking pass. Turn left to enter the parking lot, which is between the Exum Center and the Cooperative Extension Building. Enter the KSU Cooperative Extension Building from the front steps, unless you need wheelchair access, which is available from the lower level.
