There are plenty of details to explore, with exhibits painting a vivid picture of both political and personal life in Kentucky over the past 200 years.
The Capital City Museum is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Saturday
Admission to the museum is free.

Dragonflies and damselflies have been around since dinosaurs roamed the earth. The long history of these beneficial insects has given them ample time to perfect the art of flying, and they have no equal among aerial insect predators. The immature stages or larvae live in ponds, lakes, and streams, and like the adults, they are voracious predators in the aquatic realm.
Ellis Laudermilk, invertebrate biologist for the Kentucky Heritage Program, will discuss Kentucky’s dragonflies and damselflies, including topics of species diversity, life history, ecology, and the behavior of these fascinating and colorful insects.
This free event will take place in the Library Community Room. Please register online or at the Library. For more information, contact Diane Dehoney at 352-2665×108 or diane@pspl.org.
“The Natural History of Franklin County” series is sponsored by the Woods and Waters Land Trust and PSPL.
