The Disciple Womens Ministry of First Christian Church Frankfort is hosting its first ever Spring Rummage Sale! Join us on Friday, March 31st (8:00am to 6:00pm) and Saturday, April 1st (8:00am to 12:00pm) and let us help you find what will be your most cherished treasure!
The proceeds of our sale will be used for our outreach and food ministries. Everyone is invited to come and shop!
Admission is free and we will have tons of items to choose from including children’s toys and clothing, kitchen items, household furnishings, sporting goods, antiques, and more! *No adult clothing will be available during this sale.

Telling the big story of Kentucky’s small-town capital city
In November of 2004, the Capital City Museum opened its doors to the public. Housed in a 150 year old building that represents all that is left of the Capital Hotel, which burned in 1917, the museum is a large room filled with history and character. There are plenty of details to explore, with exhibits painting a vivid picture of both political and personal life in Kentucky over the past 200 years.
The Capital City Museum is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Saturday
Admission to the museum is free.

Frankfort’s Fishing Reels: Jewels of the Bluegrass
Frankfort has a very unique place in history as being the town where the bait casting fishing reel was perfected and first produced. Every place has its historic event or figure, but only we have this distinction. It was a Frankfort industry for over 100 years. Local craftsmen handmade these gems to fish the renowned streams of central Kentucky. Their reputation for quality and beauty was recognized around the world.

Kentucky Made: Decorative Arts from the Liberty Hall Collection – Ongoing
Featuring some of the finest examples of Kentucky-made pieces from the Liberty Hall collection, this exhibit explores the social and cultural landscape of 19th-century Kentucky through the work of silversmiths, weavers, furniture makers, and . Some of the artists represented include: Asa Blanchard, Matthew Harris Jouett, Oliver Frazer, and Paul Sawyier. Located on the 2nd Floor of Liberty Hall, the exhibit is only viewed through a guided tour.

Every Friday night, Prodigy Vineyards and Winery brings in local talent to rock the sound stage! Musicians play from 6:30-8:30. Friday March 31st, Brad Nunn will be playing some great saxaphone music from 6-9pm. The Jeptha Creed Distillery Bar will be open until 10pm serving craft cocktails made with Jeptha Creed spirits. The BBQ Cowboy will be serving fresh prepared barbecue. They will be available from 5-9pm.
*Musicians will be preforming on the patio. If there is bad weather, the performance will be moved into the Clubhouse.
