BARDSTOWN, KY (Aug. 2, 2017) – 1792 Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey received high praise and recognition at the 22nd International Spirits Challenge where it was awarded Silver. This year, more than 1,300 entries from nearly 70 countries around the globe took part in the competition.
Justin Smith, awards organizer stated, “This year has seen more entries than ever before, with producers looking to benchmark their spirit at the very highest level.”
The ISC is judged by a panel of renowned judges with different specialties within the spirits industry. The competition, in its 22nd year, promotes outstanding quality spirits from all over the world and enforces a rigorous and independent judging process, thus driving this competition to be considered among the most prestigious spirits competitions.
