7:00 am – 7:00 pm – 12 Hours of Capitol View Park MTB Race, at Capitol View Park, Old Glenns Creek Rd
What has over 100 riders, more than 500 laps, 5,000 trail miles, thorns, a large deer population, free burgers, prizes, swag, and lots of fun; the 9th annual 12 hours of Capitol View Park MTB Event.
Race as a 4, 3, or 2 person team or challenge the course by yourself (solo) for the full 12 hours! The choice is yours. (Teams of 3 will register under the “4 person” category, but race with only 3.)
$40 per person this year. Fee includes event T-shirt, swag bag, lunch, drinks and a big hug from the race director (or the cook).
Additional race T-shirts are only $10 and can be ordered via Bikereg.com.

10:30 – 11:30 am – Chanting and Meditation, at The Light Clinic, 306 W Main St, Suite 609. FREE event. http://www.thelightclinic.org/
11:00 am – 8:00 pm – Pollo Bandido, 225 W Main Street. Have you tried our newest downtown venue open on Sundays? Pollo Bandido is open on Sundays from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm….and they deliver! More info HERE
12:30 – 4:00 pm – Scenic Train Ride!, at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum, 175 Beasley Rd, Versailles
Enjoy a ride through the rolling Kentucky countryside! Learn about railroading and local history! View tiny trains as they transverse tiny twisting tracks!
The Museum and Gift Shop open at 12:30, while the train will depart at 2. The ride is approximately 90 minutes, and includes a mid-ride stop, with the opportunity for passengers to disembark, walk up to the edge of the Young’s High Bridge, and overlook the Kentucky River Palisades.
There are restrooms at the station, but not on the train.

2:00 – 6:00 pm – Beyond Apple, at Equus Run Vineyards, 1280 Moores Mill Rd, Midway
Our “Tunes in the Vines” series is back this year as we celebrate our 19th year. A bottle of wine, good friends and great music are the perfect blend for Sunday afternoons! We have a wide variety of musicians to perform on our Event Barn stage from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm each Sunday for an afternoon of family friendly entertainment! We help support our many local musicians and hope that you will too! Bring a picnic, lawn chairs or blankets! Don’t forget the family and friends…We have the wine!
Spend your Sunday with us and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the patio. Wine, good friends and great music are the perfect blend for Sunday afternoons! Music is from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Bring your party people, a picnic, lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy!
Local Kentucky beer also available along with many Equus Run wines.
No charge…Just be prepared for a fun afternoon!
Just a reminder…No outside alcohol is allowed on the premises!
6:00 – 7:00 pm – The Revelators Quartet, at Evergreen Baptist Church, 2698 Evergreen Rd
The Revelators Quartet will be in concert at Evergreen Baptist Church on Sunday, August 27th at 6 pm. The event is free, but a love offering will be taken.
