WHAT: Kentucky State University 131st Founders Day and Investiture Convocation and KSU Forward Campaign for Student Scholarships and University Growth

WHO: Kentucky State University M. Christopher Brown II, country music star Billy Ray Cyrus

WHEN: Convocation is Friday, Oct. 20 at 9 a.m.; luncheon is Friday, Oct. 20 at noon.

WHERE: Convocation will take place in Bradford Hall; luncheon will take place in the William Exum Center.

WHY: Kentucky State University will officially install Dr. M. Christopher Brown II as the 18th president during the convocation; country music star and Flatwoods, Kentucky native Billy Ray Cyrus, whose breakout hit ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will headline the luncheon.
