2:00 – 5:00 pm – Live Music with Taylor Henry, at Verona Vineyards, 13815 Walton Verona Rd, Verona

Singer Songwriter Taylor Henry will be playing Verona Vineyards from 2:00-5:00.

Cheese Boards and other lighter fair from Chef Craig and the Verona Vineyards Kitchen will also be available.

Artist reception for Debra Guess, in the Wesley Center Gallery Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 211 Washington St. Debra’s show, A Sense of Place” will be featured through the end of November. For more information call 227-4329.

4:00 pm – “Allerseelen” Concert (All Saints Sunday) featuring Dr. Caroline G Gibson, and accompanied by Mr. John Martin, at Church of the Ascension, 311 Washington St.

Concert featuring Dr. Caroline G Gibson, Assistant Professor of Voice, Artist in Residence and Director of the Opera/Musical Theatre Workshop at Kentucky State University; accompanied by Mr. John Martin, Staff Accompanist at Kentucky State University. Works of composers to be performed include Handel, Puccini, Verdi, Strauss and others. This is a concert you don’t want to miss!

4:00 – 6:00 pm – Winter Cardinal Drawing Class, at Michaels, 7000 John Davis Dr

This 2 hour drawing class is $15 plus supplies which would include drawing pencils, sepia dark and light pencils, eraser, drawing pad and a red chalk pencil. (I believe you can use a set of drawing pencils, a pack of colored pencils and a good eraser). This will be a fun class where we will work on dimension and placement as well as shading. It is a class for all skill levels including beginner. Come and enjoy an afternoon of drawing. Dare to be creative! You may sign up at the store or on line.
