Limited release 225th Anniversary Bourbon available in Gift Shop
BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY (Nov. 9, 2017) – It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! In conjunction with Light Up Bardstown, Barton 1792 will be giving lantern-lit tours of the Distillery on Nov. 24, and the whole family is invited!
Following the official lighting of the City of Bardstown and the Christmas tree on Court Square on the day after Thanksgiving, Barton 1792 Distillery will be serving complimentary hot cocoa, egg nog and holiday refreshments in the Distillery’s Visitor Center and giving lantern-lit tours.
The Gift Shop will also be releasing more of the 1792 225th Anniversary Bourbon for Black Friday shoppers while supply lasts. As 1792 is named in honor of the year Kentucky became a state, this special bourbon was released in limited quantities this summer to commemorate Kentucky’s 225th anniversary of statehood, June 1, 2017. The 1792 225th Anniversary Bourbon will be available in 750mL bottles for $36.
The lantern-lit tours are complimentary and will be available every 30 minutes beginning at 7 p.m., giving holiday guests a look at the Distillery and inside one of the aging warehouses.
Ending at 9 p.m., this is the perfect opportunity to do some holiday shopping in the Distillery Gift Shop and stock up on the essentials for treating family visiting from out-of-town.
Barton 1792 Distillery is located in downtown Bardstown at 501 Cathedral Manor. For more information about the lantern-lit tours or to schedule a tour during regular hours, call the Visitor Center at 502-331-4879.
