Be sure to come and invite friends and family to our 11:00 am service on December 17! A Special Christmas Play, featuring many of our young folks, as well as the Power Choir and the Adult Chancel Choir. Following at noon we will share a festive meal together– with a special guest…

11:00 am – 8:00 pm – Pollo Bandido, 225 W Main Street. Have you tried our newest downtown venue open on Sundays? Pollo Bandido is open on Sundays from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm….and they deliver! More info HERE

12:30 – 4:00 pm – Santa Trains!, at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum, 175 Beasley Rd, Versailles

When snowflakes start to fly in Kentucky, Santa and Mrs. Claus bring Holiday Cheer to the Bluegrass Railroad Museum!

Six trains will be available this year! On Saturday the 9th and the 16th, we’ll have trains at 11 am and 2 pm. On Sundays, the 11th and 18th, we’ll have only the 2 pm train.

Once the train pulls out of the station for a two hour train ride, Santa visits with every child. Our Conductors and Car Hosts will help you pass the time while waiting for your turn with the jolly old elf. Enjoy singing carols, watching the winter countryside or just relaxing with your family. At the end of the ride, there are candy canes for everyone before Santa gives his final farewell.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer restrooms onboard the train.

You may purchase tickets online. The larger your party is, please arrive earlier, such as 10:15 for the morning trains, or 1:15 for the afternoon trains. It will be easier to seat you together if you board early.

Santa Trains will not feature a stop at our Kentucky River Overlook. We won’t be viewing the river.

1:00 – 3:00 pm – Santa Clause is coming to the Winery, at Elk Creek Winery, 150 Highway 330, Owenton

Santa will be at the winery on December 17th from 1-3pm to raise money for the local boy scouts! Bring your family to take pictures in front of the Christmas Tree from 1-3pm with Santa! If you have a fur baby, Santa will be available to take photos OUTSIDE by the hearth from 3-4pm (please note that no animals can be inside the winery or anywhere that food is being served). Feel free to bring your camera or phone to snap your own pictures, and if you’d like the scouts to send you an electronic photo you will just need to provide an email address. All donations are appreciated.

1:00 – 9:00 pm – Sunday Bloody Fun Day, at Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe, 235 W Broadway. Relax on your Sunday, grab breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with new extended hours, 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. Take the edge off with the Specialty Bloody Mary Bar. Info HERE
