Session Two of Beyond Barre is starting this week! We have 4 classes a week being held at Small Batch Cyclery, 835 Louisville Rd. Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00 AM, Tuesday at 6:00 PM and Thursday at 7:00 PM. Classes are $10 each, come get a low impact, kick butt (seriously) workout with us!
10:00 – 11:00 am – Baby Story Time, at the Woodford County Library, 115 N Main St, Versailles
(Ages 9-23 mo.) Songs, rhymes, stories, and activities for babies along with a favorite grown up. No sign up necessary.
10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Capital City Museum, 325 Ann Street, Open Monday through Saturday, Free Admission
Telling the big story of Kentucky’s small-town capital city
In November of 2004, the Capital City Museum opened its doors to the public. Housed in a 150 year old building that represents all that is left of the Capital Hotel, which burned in 1917, the museum is a large room filled with history and character. There are plenty of details to explore, with exhibits painting a vivid picture of both political and personal life in Kentucky over the past 200 years.
The Capital City Museum is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Saturday
Admission to the museum is free.

Frankfort’s Fishing Reels: Jewels of the Bluegrass
Frankfort has a very unique place in history as being the town where the bait casting fishing reel was perfected and first produced. Every place has its historic event or figure, but only we have this distinction. It was a Frankfort industry for over 100 years. Local craftsmen handmade these gems to fish the renowned streams of central Kentucky. Their reputation for quality and beauty was recognized around the world.

Follow a beginner’s DVD to boost your energy. This gentle workout is designed to improve posture and increase mobility.
11:00 am – 12:30 pm – Milestones & Meltdowns, at the Paul Sawyier Public Library, 319 Wapping St
Parent Group for anyone with a child from birth to age 3. Facilitating the group will be Christina Libby of Commonwealth Doula. While your little one is welcome to join, this group is for you, the parent.
12:30 – 1:30 pm – Indoor SUP Fitness at Family Activity Center (Shelby County), at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Parks and Recreation, 717 Burks Branch Rd, Shelbyville
Take your workout to the water! Join personal trainer and fitness instructor Jackie Mitchell for a bootcamp style, high intensity fitness class on the water. Stay for SUP Yoga at 1:45 to end your water workout with stretching and relaxation!! This class if for all levels of paddlers and fitness practitioners. SUP Fit is $20 for FAC Members and $25 for guests. Space is limited and all participants must pre-register.

Our cure for the winter blues: indoor Stand Up Paddle board Yoga! Join us for an hour long class that will challenge your balance and give you the opportunity to build strength, flexibility, and flow! This program is designed for children in grades K – 2. The four week session is designed to teach the fundamentals and basic technique for tumbling.
Besides doing fun stretches like bear walk, athletes will learn how to do forward roll, backward roll, & cartwheel.
4:00 – 5:00 pm – Teen Game Time, at the Woodford County Library, 115 N Main St, Versailles
(Ages 11-18) Hang out with friends and discover your next favorite game at the Library! Various board, card, and video games will be available for you to enjoy. Tasty snacks and drinks provided. No sign up necessary.
