Luncheon and Tour of Historic Botherum
Lunch and tour for 8 of the ca.1850 home and gardens of Jon Carloftis and Dale Fisher. Botherum, in downtown Lexington, was selected as Garden & Gun Magazine‘s Favorite Southern Garden Space and Southern Living’s biggest magazine spread in a decade. Jon and Dale are also honorees of Salonierre’s Top 100 Party Givers, 2017.

“Meadow Champions” from the private collection of Penny Chenery
Framed prints of Secretariat and Riva Ridge signed by Mrs. Chenery, who passed away in 2017.Racing from 1971-1973, Riva Ridge and Secretariat represent the best in horse racing. Original artwork by Richard Stone Reeves. Prints include an embossed etching of the heralded blue and white Meadow silks that also now appear on the University of Kentucky basketball silks.

Kentucky Antiquities Tour and Luncheon, June 16
Tour an extraordinary private collection of early Kentucky furniture, paintings, pottery, ironworks, rifles, powder horns, silver and more from the antebellum period. Items from the Cox Collection have been featured in The Magazine Antiques and Collecting Kentucky and items from this collection have been exhibited at Colonial Williamsburg, the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts, and the Speed Art Museum. Space is limited to 10.

Watercolor “Soyans” by Nana Lampton
A 1999 plein air watercolor and pen drawing on paper by Kentucky artist Nancy “Nana” Lampton. Lampton has exhibited her paintings at regional shows, including Morlan Gallery at Transylvania University, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Chapman-Friedman Gallery, and Smith-Berry Winery. Lampton, also a poet, is working on her next collection of poetry.
