Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 28th, 2018, Frankfort and Franklin County will participate in their first “On the Table” event. Dozens of hosts will participate in an open forum about everything and everything to do with working together as a community to move forward. Your voice matters in this one-day opportunity to gather around a table with friends, neighbors, colleagues and maybe even a few people we’re meeting for the first time to have a real conversation about what’s important to us as individuals and us as a county moving forward.

This event drew over 11,000 participants last year in Fayette County. They gathered around over 1,100 tables throughout Lexington to discuss not only what’s great about
that community, but ways to make it even better.

Although registration is suggested, it is not mandatory. And many groups and organizations throughout the county will be hosting “OPEN” tables. Just pick a time and show up!

The Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce has done a tremendous job in partnering with the Blue Grass Community Foundation, and is facilitating as a “Super Host” of sorts during this all day event. They have done their best to gather as many OPEN table discussions as possible. Please consider joining at least one conversation at a time and location that is convenient for you. We have organized by times to make attending more convenient. Make your voice matter during this unique event!!!
