Liberty Hall Historic Site is under new ownership! After over 80 years of working side-by-side with The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in The Commonwealth of Kentucky we have merged. We will continue the same level of commitment to our non-profit mission but with a more streamlined operation. Check out our new logo which reflects the NSCDA-KY official fonts and colors!
Silhouettes were very popular among all economic classes until about 1850, when, they fell out of favor with the invention of photography. The LHHS collection contains 10 silhouettes and a children’s book with silhouette illustrations.
