BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY (Feb. 20, 2020) – Two of Barton 1792 Distillery’s whiskies received medals at the 2020 American World Whiskies Awards presented by Whisky Magazine.
1792 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey received a Gold Medal and 1792 Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey received a Bronze Medal at a recent ceremony in New York City.
“We are very thankful to receive these recognitions,” Master Distiller Danny Kahn said. “Producing top-quality whiskey is truly a team effort and everyone at Barton 1792 is dedicated to accomplishing that goal. These awards are another indication of that commitment.”
Whiskies in each category were subject to blind tastings in a three-round judging process to reward and promote the world’s best whiskies to consumers and trade across the globe. The winners from the American World Whiskies Awards 2020 will now compete with counterparts from all over the world, and global winners will be announced March 26 in London.
