Frankfort, KY – February 19, 2016 – Save the date and plan to kick off your Derby season with honorary chairs Martha Layne Collins and Steve and Diane Collins at Liberty Hall Historic Site’s annual spring fundraiser, “Bourbon & Browns” on Saturday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. With Kentucky hot brown creations from famed chef and James Beard Award nominee, Ouita Michel of Holly Hill Inn, and selections of Woodford Reserve bourbon, your palate will be pleased. The event features Bluegrass music by No Tools Loaned, a favorite on the Governor’s Derby Train, unique live and silent auction items, and the company of good friends. The event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the National Preservation Act and all proceeds benefit the continued preservation of Liberty Hall Historic Site.
