Families, companies, schools, community groups, church groups, individuals, four-legged friends, and participants of all ages showed up Friday evening for the 9th Annual Pro.Active for Life 5K Run/Walk. The race, the second of the three races in the Frankfort Trifecta Series, was held in downtown Frankfort. Over 800 participants ran or walked the just over 3 mile course that started and ended on Broadway and wound it’s way around the State Capitol and through the downtown area.
The race is sponsored by Pro.Active Therapy, a business providing Physical and Occupational Therapy, EMG/ NCV testing, and Industrial/ Ergonomic Consulting services to Franklin, Woodford, and surrounding counties. Who, along with partner business, Cool Comfort Shoes, gave workshops to first time runners as well as advanced runners prior to the event.
