The top bluegrass and southern gospel group in the country, regularly featured on the Gaither Homecoming events, TV shows and videos. Daughters, Sonya and Becky are award winning songwriters, penning some of the nation’s most popular country songs for many top artists – including Kenny Bishop ;-). Son, Ben is one of the music industry’s top producers, working for the Gaither Vocal Band, The Oak Ridge Boys and several others. Mom, Lily was born in Poland, is an accomplished author who has survived incredible odds and health obstacles, including breast cancer. Her Polish parents survived the Nazi concentration camps before coming to the Bronx in the US. Her recent book, “You Don’t Cry Out Loud” was recently released to critical acclaim. JSP Glass Blowing at Fall Arts Festival Banner

11:00 am – 6:00 pm – 2014 Fall Arts Festival at Josephine Sculpture Park, Josephine Sculpture Park, 3355 Lawrenceburg Rd (3/4 Mile South of Capital Bowl), Frankfort

The JSP Fall Arts Festival is a FREE event connecting the community with the arts & the land in the most experiential manner. This 1 day festival offers a host of artistic experiences to the public. The amphitheatre s…tage presents live local musicians & dancers while artists conduct free demonstrations & workshops (printmaking, community sculpture, pottery wheel, fabric dyeing, rocket painting, art scavenger hunts & more). You can create your own cast aluminum relief sculpture to take home at the Hot Metal Pour, blow glass & forge steel on the anvil ($25-$35). Enjoy guided tours, a yoga walk through the park, the BUBBLE BUG (2-4pm) and Hot Air Balloon rides (4-6pm) ($10) !!! A collaborative sculpture will be created as part of the community art exhibition.
