Belle Brezing, Kentucky’s most famous madam, took herself off the streets by borrowing enough money to set up her own establishment. Her fame extended internationally and grew alongside the popularity of horse racing.
Join us as Maryjean Wall, former turf writer for the Lexington Herald-Leader and a history instructor at the University of Kentucky, talks about Brezing’s life and times.
