Frankfort, KY – [April 20, 2015] The Nursing Home Ombudsman Agency of the Bluegrass, Inc. (NHOA), in partnership with the American Red Cross, will host a volunteer training session for individuals interested in becoming Friendly Visitor volunteers. Friendly Visitors are matched with a long-term care resident who can benefit from the friendship. The expectations of time include a minimal 1 hour each week.
The 2-hour training session will take place at 5:30pm on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the American Red Cross building located at 318 Washington Street Frankfort, KY 40601-1824. To register for training call the American Red Cross 502-223-1795 or 800-578-4904; or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
